Taken from their upcoming album, Sick Moon, False Heads have dropped the hugely impressive ‘Thick Skin’. It’s a gruff, garage-grunge track that snarles a message against the current political climate. Its punky edge comes from sharp electric guitar lines and an aggressive breakdown towards the end, but the band still show off their knack for memorable melodies. “'Thick Skin' is about how much I fucking hate the current political discourse,” they explain. “To me, politics seems to be completely and utterly middle-class from left to right — class has been seemingly removed from a lot of left-wing politics.” Be sure to check out Sick Moon when it drops on September 30th, 2022. -Dan Peeke.
